Chris Christenson has been shaping fishes for over 30 years now. His latest addition to his Fish quiver is the Acid Phish. Until now, his fishes have been some of the best selling on market and have always been known to be classic shapes.
With the Acid Phish, Chris wanted to deliver a board that ads some performance to the classy fish feeling. A board that works well in the pocket, that can be pushed to be surfed more vertical when the wave asks for it. It can handle not only small fun sessions but also bigger surf.
The Acid Phish has a lot more nose rocker than his classic fish. It has a step deck on the top, as Chris felt that some fish are to cracky up front so he designed a step deck that drops at the front of the board. That way he was able to reduce a lot of volume from the nose.
It also has a lot more curve in the back, which assits in backside surfing and the tail is a little more pulled in than the one from his standart fish.
The biggest difference is happening at the bottom of the board.

Construction - PU by Olatu Surf
For the Lost shortboards of 6'4 and under we have them with 2 full layer of 4 oz. on the deck and 1 full layer of 4 oz. on the bottom. All in a high performance glass job with high quality Polyurethane (PU) Foam and Polyester Resin.
About Chris Christenson
Chris Christenson began his shaping career making boards for the surf team at Point Loma Nazarene University. After working under shaping legends like Dick Brewer and Skip Frye, he has since gone on to establish himself as one of the premier shapers in the world. A master as making all types of boards, Christenson has a “many arrows in the quiver” philosophy that he attributes to his childhood as a competitive golfer. He commits equal focus to making custom shortboards for WCT riders as he does to making fish and longboards.
