Makai Fins is a family-driven surf brand rooted in a deep connection to the ocean, with influences spanning Hawaii, Bali and California. Built from a passion for surfing across generations, the brand focuses on creating fins that reflect both heritage and everyday surf use.

The range centres around single fins and longboard-oriented templates, designed for smooth turning, trim and flow. Many of the shapes draw from classic outlines, refined for modern boards, with an emphasis on balance, hold and responsiveness across a variety of conditions.

Makai’s approach is closely tied to a laid-back, coastal mindset. The name itself means “towards the sea” in Hawaiian, reflecting the brand’s intention to keep things simple and focused on time in the water.
