The Mod Fun is designed to work for all levels of surfers in virtually every condition. From waist high mush to overhead and hollow. For new surfers or seasoned expert, the versatility of the Mod Fun makes it an excellent choice if you need one board to handle all the conditions where you live and travel.

This board is a great wave catcher - the outline has width and stability under your chest with a medium full nose for easy paddling. Plus the low to medium nose rocker helps paddling speed, stops nose diving and allows good glide on small or weak waves.

As the surf jumps up, step back and the board transforms. You’ll find a board that feels shorter than it’s length, thanks to the pulled in tail and vee running from the centre out through the fins.

Built in TET construction, these are extremely strong and durable, designed to withstand impacts in and out of the water, while still being light and easily handled.

Construction - TET CS (Carbon Strip)

The torq TET-CS, or Carbon Strip is the next level in our Revolutionary Epoxy Technology, using the same advanced TET process with a performance oriented lay-up. The Carbon strip allows us to reduce the lamination thickness but keeps the strength and stiffness, so the boards are lighter, but still super strong.

All TET-CS now feature an additional wood layer sandwich between the two deck biaxial layers. This wood composite is incredibly ding resistant but without adding stiffness usually associated with strength.
